Last week I went to the
Virginia Living Museum. Its a small science museum, mainly focusing on animals native to Virginia. There are several aquariums, and a short boardwalk trail that goes through some nice gardens using native plants and a small zoo, with all animals that were unable to survive on their own. Most of the animals were sleeping, but still really cute.
A great blue heron, not part of the museum, just wading in the shallow waters of a neighboring pond..
Red Wolves. These were my favorite animals here. I love how they curl up into little balls, just like my Chewbacca does.
