52 Photos Project: Wide Open Spaces

This weeks "52 Photos Project theme is "Wide Open Spaces."

Last week I took a "field trip" to Jockey Ridge State Park in North Carolina's Outer Banks. Its well known for having some large sand dunes, as well as being close to Kitty Hawk, where the Wright Brothers made their first flight.

  1. Love it, it's so soft and delicate ... as well colors as shapes. Beautiful picture!

  2. Thanks for sharing this! I haven't seen the outer banks in 30 years. Oh my...I need to add it to the travel list!

  3. Somehow, from this image, I can just picture the Wright brothers doing their thing! :)

BTW, besides my blogspot blog, I'm also at the following blog:

  4. I've been to the Outer Banks... such beauty! This photo is exquisite. Thank you for sharing.
