Egrets

I finally finished this illustration, inspired by egrets and other wading birds I saw on the beaches in Naples, FL. I've been working on it for almost a year, and had put it aside when I had artists block.

One of the best bits of advice I got in art school, step away from your art, think about it for a few days, look at it from different distances. I have this printout on the wall, to live with it for a few days. As you can see i've made some editing notes on it.
