January at the Norfolk Botanical Garden

Here are some photos I took last Thursday at the Norfolk Botanical Garden, in addition the the Winterberry I used as my photo of the day for 28/365. I was amazed at how much color there was, and I think I my take too many photos of tree branches.
A bare crepe myrtle, I love the twisty shapes of the branches and the pattered bark.

Some pink leaves in the tropical greenhouse. It was so hot my camera fogged up.

Some early blooming daffodils, probably tricked by the warm weather we had (until this weeks snow storm)

Pussy Willow Tree!!

Dwarf Japanese Peach Tree

  1. This is a beautiful picture! Reminds me of my daughter's photos. I love the pinks against the beautiful blue sky.
