For the last month I have mostly been preoccupied with moving from Virginia Beach to Morehead City, NC. We now live on 10 acres, with a pond and a fenced area for the dogs, just on the outskirts of a cute coastal town.
The actual move was two weekends ago, and although I am not done unpacking, I'm starting to get into the rhythm of life here. The house is only 4 years old, so fortunately no major structural issues to worry about, but a seemingly endless list of little projects. Overall, I'm pretty excited. Its nice to be living in a smaller town again and I look forward to finally being able to grown more of my own food and decorate my own home.
This is wonderful! I'm a little bit envious... you have your own pond!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at apartments right now, my own mind is full of things to be packed, farewells to be said, and the promise of a new place...
Of course, so much more goes into actually buying a house!
