Lotta Jansdotter Doorstop

Our dog, Chewbacca, kept shutting himself in my studio when we wern't home, so I made this doorstop from a pattern in Lotta Jansdotter's simple sewing and a fabric scrap I have been toting around for about six years (I knew I'd find the perfect project for it someday!)

Golden Age of Couture

Unfortunately, I won't be getting to London anytime soon, so I will have to miss the Victoria and Albert Musuem's "The Golden Age of Couture". But at least I was still living near Boston when Paris Fashion Shows exhibit was on display. Check out this link:

First Landing State Park

A few weeks ago I finally got around to exploring the nearby state park. Its quite beautiful, but in an entirely different way than New England. Here is one of the many photos I took, I'll post more of them later.

Crocheted Art at hellejorgensen.typepad.com/gooseflesh

I've often considered crocheting sealife, but have been afraid of it looking to cutsey, like amigurumi. But this is beautiful.
